Gianluca Pardini began his culinary career in his native Tuscany at a very young age. By the time he turned 21, he was already working in the only Italian restaurant in Orléans (France).

The French experience opened international doors that eventually led Pardini to Japan as a gastronomic consultant. Shortly after his return to Italy, he opened his own restaurant in Lucca. Since 1998 Pardini has dedicated himself to teaching the art of Italian cooking not only in his own International Academy of Italian Cuisine (in Siena, then in Lucca), but also as visiting chef in major cities throughout Europe, Japan and the USA. In 2004, the Italian Cooking Federation awarded Pardini, Master of Cooking and Executive Chef, one of only three in Tuscany to be so honored.

He is justifiably proud of his popularity as lecturer and, thanks to his unusual background and experience, his unique position as an international Ambassador of Italian cuisine.
